This is a Men's Modified Pitch Tournament (no slingshot) held on July 10 and July 11. What makes this tournament different is only wooden bats are allowed (no composite, however). Two fields will be used in Hechersville, PA. This town is just north of Minersville and just minutes from the Minersville exit off Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County. The entrance fee is $180 and the tournament is restricted to the first 12 teams. This tournament will be double elimination. Games start Saturday morning and end Sunday evening. No metal spikes. Bunting and stealing allowed. Cash prizes. This tournament is always fun as the game is played the way the sport is supposed to be played! Food and beverages available for purchase.
