HR DERBY

    I think if we take the top 10 HR leaders for the all star derby we are going to have a log jam . There most likely be a tie between many players at that point of the season maybe just the top 5 or 7 . If we have 15-20 guys that will chew up lots of time , just my thoughts

    it shouldn't take any longer than an hour and a half...the homerun derby will be done prior to the all star game and the more players that are in and want to "opt in", the better in my opinion. the nature of this is to get more people involved and to create a buzz. plus, i'm sure that some guys that make it in might be on vacation and won't be able to attend the derby or the game.

    think about this: TREMONT gets about 35 to 50 guys (all only 1 round) and that only takes about an hour and a half.

    (((plus, last year when both derby's were done, it only took an hour. 26 in the first derby and 5 in second derby)))
